Reflections of 2022

The Event that I remember the most is Athletics day because it was fun because the activities were fun.  Why I remember it because it was so fun.  The event that I enjoyed the most was cross country because we did a lot of running.  I enjoyed it because we did a lot of running.  The subjects that I have improved in are maths, writing and reading.  The subjects I enjoyed the most is maths because it is fun.  2022 was a GREAT YEAR.

Parihaka Remembrance Day

This week we have been working on some head bands to put on our heads to wear. How we made them was we first got a strip of paper and we had to draw some patterns on it with a pencil and go over it with vivid. Then we had to shade in some bits on the piece of paper and then we had to cut a piece of paper out and connect the piece of paper together and then we had to put some feathers and tape it on. Then we got to put it on our heads and wear it. We had to wear white and make head bands because of the spirit of non – violence. And the unfairness of taking land.  We have to wear white because it is the color of peace. Parihaka is about the land being taken away from the Maori tribe in the 1860’s.

The Black Ferns

The rugby world cup will be played and there are two teams that are the All Blacks and the Black Ferns games.  The Black Ferns are really good at defending the goal. They are really good at throwing and catching the ball. They are really good at throwing the ball in the goal. They are really good at throwing. They are really good at kicking the ball. They are really good at throwing the ball really high.

The Museum Trip

On Tuesday 18th October, we went to the Auckland museum as part of our science investigation on migration and disasters. When we were there we explored a lot of things at the museum. My favorite part at the museum was the volcano classroom because it was so much fun and we got to look at all the different rocks and we had 30 seconds to pack in a backpack all  of things that we will need if we had to evacuate some where.
